COCKPIT TRAINERS

Visitors can explore the interior of some of Naval Aviation’s greatest aircraft by climbing into a cockpit simulator. Move the control stick, flip switches and familiarize yourself with the cockpit layouts as Naval Aviators do before taking flight in new aircraft, whether in a supersonic jet like the famous F-14 Tomcat or a hovering helicopter. Cockpits are located near the museum’s entrance, on the mezzanine level of the South Wing and next to many of the aircraft they represent throughout the museum.
