In order to align NAS Pensacola with security directives issued by the Secretary of the Navy, the air station commanding officer has directed that beginning February 1, 2016, all visitors to the National Naval Aviation Museum, Fort Barrancas and Pensacola Lighthouse who do not possess a Department of Defense identification card or are unescorted by the holder of a Department of Defense identification card, will be required to enter the installation via the West Gate located off Blue Angel Parkway. Blue Angels X4D® Experience Now Open!

Fly with the Blue Angels in the Museum’s new attraction, the Blue Angels X4D® Experience.  Located in Hangar Bay One, visitors will enjoy exciting, action-packed aerial maneuvers with the Blue Angels.  With 3D images and surprising special effects, you’ll feel like you’re a part of a Blue Angels air show.

The Blue Angels X4D® Experience uses advanced 3D technologies but takes it to the next level of experience; employing interactive seats and unique special effects built into the theater itself. By creating a set of “4D” effects synchronized to the film production, the Blue Angels X4D® Experience adds another layer of immersive and experiential fun for audiences of all ages. 4D theaters are a multi-sensory experience and are changing the way people enjoy movies.

  • The Blue Angels X4D® Experience seats 12 guests per show, and they are played continuously each day. The current 4D (6 minute) film is showing: “Flying with the Blues.”
  • The Blue Angels X4D® Experience admission is $7.00 per guest.
  • Guests must be 5 years of age or 48″ tall to ride the Blue Angels X4D® Experience.
