PENSACOLA, Fla. (KTHV) – All this week, THV11 is exploring the Gulf Coast, looking for fun activities you and your family might want to check out this summer.

Now, we drove to Destin, but on the way, we just had to make a stop at the National Naval Aviation Museum after so many commenters told us it was a must.

“We move aircraft around, We try to open up new exhibits be they big ones or small ones be they big ones or small ones just to give a fresh look. So we can promise you if you’ve been here before and you say I’ve already seen it when you come back again there will definitely be something you didn’t see in your previous visit,” Hill Goodspeed with the museum explained.

The museum is open 362 days of the year from nine to five each day. It’s free to get in and is a great stop-by on your way to the beach or on a rainy day.

Plus, it’s a great educational experience.
