The National Naval Aviation Museum is home to tens of thousands of items and documents which span the entire spectrum of Naval Aviation’s history.  Through its Emil Buehler Naval Aviation Library, History Up Close series, online exhibits and collections database, these items and the stories they hold can be shared with researchers and the general public.  Further, the Naval Aviation Museum Foundation operates a number of educational programs at the Museum and the state-of-the-art National Flight Academy, all designed to inspire children and adolescents to pursue excellence in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).
