Born: Spokane, Washington Died :NAS Patuxent River, Maryland while piloting a T-38 Enlisted: 21 August 1984, Nuclear Power Program Discharged August 1985 as Machinists Mate Third Class Gareth taught us all a lot about flying and taking care of Sailors, but he most of all taught us how precious life is - not through his death but through the life that he lived, the way he approached everything he did with a real zest and incredible thirst for living.
