LT EUGENE STOLZ, USNR
1907 - 1999

Eugene Stolz flew TBMs, F3Ds and F4U-5Ns during the period 1945-1954. He served as a carrier night fighter pilot in Composite Squadron 3 for eight months on the USS Philippine Sea. After being released from active duty he worked as a charter and bush pilot and an FAA inspector in Alaska. Eugene Stolz died December 17, 1999, the 96th anniversary of the Wright brothers first flight.
