All Special Events must be sponsored by a military (active/retired/reserve) person and submitted to Museum Staff before the event request is approved.

Blue Angel Atrium

  • 10,000 square feet
  • Accomodates 50 to 1,200 guests
  • Available during daytime hours and weekends for civilian/military award ceremonies and graduations, military retirements, change of command, winging
  • Available in the evenings for cocktail hour and heavy hors d'oeuvres, formal dinners and banquets

Quarterdeck

  • Approximately 30,000 square feet
  • Accomodates up to 550 standing guests
  • Available after-hours only.  The perfect place for cocktail receptions immediately preceeding dinner or after IMAX® Theatre presentation

Cubi Bar Café

  • Overlooks the Museum's south wing
  • Accomodates up to 130 guests for socializing and casual dining
  • Cubi Bar Café also has a private dining area available during daytime and after-hours
  • Cubi Bar Cafe catering is available for daytime functions

WestPac Room (available for daytime use)

  • Located next to the Cubi Bar Café, the WestPac room has comfortable seating for up to 42 guests for luncheons or 65 standing guests for receptions

USS Cabot Flight Deck

  • Accommodates up to 500 people
  • By special request, available after-hours for civilian/military receptions or formal dinners
  • By special request, the flight deck is available for military receptions and graduations during daytime hours 

IMAX® Naval Aviation Memorial Theatre (available for after-hours use)

  • Available by special request only
  • Special discounted evening shows of our IMAX® movies
  • 12,000 watt sound system
  • Elevated stage, personalized lighting
  • Powerpoint presentation and DVD/CD/VCR equipment available

Motion-Based Simulator

  • Available for daytime use only
  • A five-minute, multi-sensory ride accomodating up to 15 passengers
