At one time used to shout commands on board the rigid airship Shenandoah (ZR 1), this megaphone fell from the sky along with the airship during a storm over Ohio on 3 September 1925.  It was recovered by a bystander on the ground.

Seaplanes This Naval Flying Corps First Aid Kit was used by corpsmen to treat injured personnel from the rigid airship Shenandoah (ZR 1) following her crash in Ohio on 3 September 1925.  That this kit saw great use on that fateful day is evidenced by the fact that only a few bandages remain inside.

South Carolinian Ensign Arthur Sense Williams wore this leather flight suit when he was the first member of the maiden lighter-than-air class to complete training at Akron, Ohio, in 1917.  This fact is reflected by the fact that "Blimp Pilot Number 1" appears on the left breast of the jacket.

A rare color photograph from the scrapbook of World War II blimp pilot Ensign D.W. Boyd shows the mammoth Hangar One at Naval Air Station (NAS) Moffett Field, California.
