Blue Angels Practices

Museum Activities > Blue Angels Practices

The National Naval Aviation Museum is proud to share a home with the United States Navy’s Blue Angels flight demonstration squadron. During the 2008 season, the Blue Angels will perform practice air shows over Pensacola Naval Air Station most Tuesday and Wednesday mornings at 8:30am.*  In addition, following most of the Wednesday practices, there will be an autograph session with the pilots inside the National Naval Aviation Museum.  Admission to the Blue Angel practices is FREE and open to the public.

The viewing area for the Blue Angels practice is located behind the National Naval Aviation Museum. Signs are posted to direct visitors to viewing and parking locations, including special spaces for handicapped visitors. Bleachers are available for seating about 1,000 people. Feel free to bring your own lawn chairs. We also suggest that visitors bring hats, sunscreen and water.

*Blue Angel practices are subject to change without notice due to weather conditions, flight operations or other unforeseen events.
